In a series of 4 Nutrition “Bytes”, Jane Templeman, owner of Jane’s Green Table will present the most important eating changes you can make in this new year.

In the first class, “Byte”#1, learn to Shake the Sugar Habit by understanding why you crave it, how it affects your body, what foods it’s hidden in & what to substitute. Participants will sample some naturally sweetened treats.

In “Byte” #2 learn fact from fiction about Ancient Grains, Gluten, & Fiber. We’ll learn the attributes of grain in our diets & take a close look at labels of grain containing foods as well as prepare a sample grain bowl.

In “Byte”#3 we address the role diet can play in Fighting Inflammation. We’ll identify the major inflammatory foods & what makes them so. We’ll also discuss the many naturally occurring compounds that fight inflammation & prepare an anti-inflammatory snack.

“Byte”#4 is a focus on Protein, both Animal & Plant. We’ll explore our protein needs & whether we are satisfying or over satisfying them to the detriment of our health.
